We’re thrilled to kick off our season with our first week of practice! Tomorrow evening, we’ll host an important information Zoom meeting for all athletes and parents. Please join us to cover key season details, introduce the coaching staff, and discuss specifics for the weeks ahead.

We also have links for our gear store and silicone caps with a quick ordering turnaround, so please place your orders as soon as possible. Note: we will not have dryland after practice this week—it will start next week.

Athlete Clearance
To participate on the swim and dive team, all athletes must complete the following before their first practice:

Athlete Registration: Please complete the Google Form if you haven’t already: Registration Form
RSchool/Physicals: Additional details can be found at the end of this email on submitting your physical forms.

Week 1 of Practice
Our first practice is on Tuesday, November 12. This week, we will have swim and dive practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Dryland training will begin next week. Please make sure your athlete has clearance completed, along with a swimsuit and goggles ready. Caps will be provided on day one!

Calling All Swim Officials!
If you have officiating experience with a summer league or USA Swimming, please contact Hang Owen as soon as possible. We need to expand our roster of officials for our meets. If you’re interested in becoming a high school official but lack experience, let us know—the certification process is straightforward.

APS Physical/Athlete Clearance
To complete clearance, follow these steps:

Returning Students: Parents who registered their student last year should use the existing account. Do not create a new account.
New Students: Create one account to register for all sports. Please ensure that all sports of interest are selected for the current year.
Physical Submission: Only the doctor’s physical examination page needs to be uploaded. Physical Examination Form

New Student Registrations (post-July 1): Please email us to add your athlete to the registration site if they are newly registered at the school.
