Good Afternoon,
We had another great performance on Friday with the girls defeating McLean and the boys competing hard. Our team continues to grow stronger each week as we prepare for the championship season.

This week marks the final week of the regular season, culminating in Senior Night on Friday, 1/24, before our meet vs. WL.

This week we will have two opportunities for athletes to complete year end surveys for the athletics department – these are administered by the activities office staff, to provide valuable feedback on the season and our performance to help for future planning. We hope as many athletes as possible will participate between the two following opportunities:

Weds 1/22 430pm in YHS Cafeteria
Thurs 1/23 310pm location tbd

Lastly, we have our final team pasta dinner on Wednesday 1/22 at 5pm in the atrium – we hope everyone will be able to join us!

Additional Notes
Senior Night Recognition:
Seniors, invite family, friends, teachers, and anyone important to you to join us for your recognition ceremony at 7:30pm during Friday’s meet.

Boosters Dues:
We kindly ask each family to contribute $30 to the booster club to help cover team dinners, awards, and other needs.

Liberty District Championships:

Coaches will finalize lineups for Districts (~20 athletes per team). If unavailable for Districts, notify coaches ASAP.
District athletes will be announced on Saturday, 1/25, with responses required.
Varsity Letter Requirement:
To qualify for a varsity letter, athletes must attend 2 days of a championship meet (Districts, Regionals, or States).

End-of-Season Ceremony:
Join us on Monday, 3/10, at 7:00pm in the YHS Cafeteria to celebrate our season, distribute awards, and recognize athletes.
